Hello. I'm a new seller on this site and I will be posting alot of cards. I have over 1 million cards (mostly baseball) in my collection. Needless to say I've ran out of room, so I'm posting cards really, really cheap with low shipping.

I am looking for someone to sell me boxes of pre 75 commons in any shape whatsoever. I do not care the shape of the crads . I just like to look at the cards. I want to buy large amounts and I will pay in cash. The price will be negotiated on the quality and quantity of the cards as well as the people in the cards. Email me at johnfulks2@yahoo.com on what you have. Nothing before 75 and prefer nothing before 72, Football and Baseball only. Thank You, and I am still looking for a few Mark Martin Cards for my Father Inlaw

Hello everyone , I am New but like this site. I own a Sports Cards Hobby shop in Glens Falls,NY named Big Uglies. We are Trophy & Awards shop as well. Since registering for this site I have tried to promote this site through Fliers and Emailing Clients I have done Selling/Buying with in the past, directing them to this site. I also placed a flier on my front door of the store directing customers to this site as well. We all need to do our part and promote this site to help out. Thank Hank

For all of us, I hope! All we need to do now is get the word out there! I'm including a link on ALL my webpages for starters. Oh, and the name's Bill, don't be shy and call me "pig".

Mountainotter, To get the most profit you will need to get a beckett and go through them. Cards in that time frame you will need to list at 40 50 % of book with any hope of selling. Now there may be few exeptions to that, with a rare of high demand card. Any more questions please ask
Posted by Mountainotter (0) on 8/16/2005 at 10:58:06 ET Auctions
I just cleaned out my closet and found over 2000 cards dating from 1983 and 1990. What's the best way to sell the cards and get the most profit?

Posted by Worldtrade (0) on 1/16/2005 at 05:50:22 ET Auctions
Hi William. You are right. In a year this sight will be bringing prices like those on eBay and Yahoo. The thing to do is to buy up some of these cards at low prices.

I have found a whole bunch of baseball cards certified by the big companies that are listed without pictures. I have bought some for $1.00 to $2.00 that will go for $7.00 if listed with pictures.

Hi Makmadco. I have a copy of Kraus' Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards. I will look them up for you.
Posted by Worldtrade (0) on 1/16/2005 at 05:34:02 ET Auctions
I have been collecting baseball cards for many years but I have not seen so many bargains as are listed here. I found a Babe Ruth for a dollar. There are a whole bunch of Negro League players likr Josh Gibson and Buck Leonard who hiy more homeruns that Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. They both made the Hall of Fame without ever playing major league baseball. I've got a whole box of cards from the 1960s that I will put up for a one dollar starting price. Here is a 1969 Topps #75 Luis Aparicio that lists for $7.50. These cards would cost ten times what they are going for ob Sportcards. It's also fun to just look at them. If you can't find what you want let me know and I will dig through some of those shoeboxes znd find it.

Happy New Year!! (Hey, someone had to say it). Anyway...I've seen many auction sites, but this one I like the look of and so far is easy and very straight forward to use. I really love the fee structure right now...hope it stays that way for a good while! Well see how the auctions go.

I had a bunch of auctions close the pther day. As a seller this is very incouraging. However, something need to be done with the post sales page. It would be helpful if *** could see ***r bidders all on the same page. Great site Cardhog. Keep up the good work.

Hello, My name is william the owner of Sports Card Auction. I want to thank everyone who is posting. Please keep it up, this will make or break the site. Nobody wants to visit a site with no cards, or good quality cards. If no one had started posting I was going to list a few hundred of my own. The site was started in NOV 2002. The site will reach 90,000 hits in DEC. Keep posting, I am very pleased with the initial response to the site. Give the site a year and we will all be happy. Some advice to all users, use the about me page. It is a great tool that *** can direct ***r customers to ***r items *** have listed. They can look at all ***r auctions *** have listed. Also it will establish a cusomer base. Thanks for all ***r Support William

Just wondering who started this site and how long it has ben going? Hope it does well. I hope people are realistic and hold shipping fees down. My opinion is that some shipping fees are too high on Ebay. Some people have gotten to the point that they give no description of the card. In the description area it is all about their shipping procedure. $2.50 shipping for a $.50 card is ridiculous. I have had very little trouble with SASE. If there's an address and return address the letter is most likely going to be delivered.

Just getting the ball rolling. Anyone have any comments on how this site will do or how we can make it a success?
